About the Artist
Sue Leather was born in Lancashire, England, south of the Lake District National Park in the north west. She came to Canada in 1981 with her husband Dave and their two sons, Ben and Rob.
Her love of art began in junior school and progressed into a career in technical drawing. Working for architects introduced her to fine drawing applications which again led to an interest in pen and ink and subsequently painting.
Sue likes to paint with acrylics on board or canvas.
Flowers are predominant in her art as she gets inspiration from her garden and travel.
